Spinal Decompression
Discover the Benefits of Spinal Decompression Therapy
Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a motorized traction technique designed to alleviate back pain. It works by gently stretching the spine, altering the force and position to reduce pressure on the spinal disks. These gel-like cushions between the vertebrae can be relieved from compression, creating a negative pressure in the disc. This process may help:
- Retract bulging or herniated disks
- Relieve pressure on nerves and spinal structures
- Enhance the flow of water, oxygen, and nutrients into the disks, promoting healing
